Level of Need (LON)

MEMEEHA, LLC serves young adults, male and female, who have a Level of Need (LON) designation of LON 5, LON 8, LON 6, and LON 9. Residents may have an Intellectual Disability, Developmental Disability, or a related condition. Many have medical needs, such as a seizure disorder.

Workshop

Workshop activities are provided at the Jake Payne Day Training Center. To ensure consistency of training, it is staffed by the same employees who provide care in the group homes. Each resident works on day training objectives from their Individual Habilitation Plan. Residents also regularly participate in community-based activities.

Relationships to parents, families, and guardians

Parent/guardian and family involvements is an essential complement to the efforts of the staff of the facility. Involvement is encouraged in every service phase including program planning, continuing involvement as a vital support system for the resident and advocacy. Families are encouraged to remain as involved as possible with their resident family member and also to participate actively in facility activities.
